British Council and BSBI School of Business and Innovation Partner to Expand Access to IELTS in Germany
BSBI School of Business and Innovation has entered into a new partnership with the British Council to expand access to IELTS testing for students in Germany.
Through the agreement, BSBI becomes an Authorised British Council IELTS Registration Centre in Germany. The partnership will enable BSBI students to register for IELTS through BSBI and access British Council IELTS test sessions at BSBI campuses in Berlin and Hamburg.
The collaboration brings together the British Council’s long-standing expertise in English language teaching and assessment with BSBI’s international higher education network. It is designed to support students and professionals who need recognised English language qualifications for international study, employment, professional registration, or migration.

IELTS is one of the world’s most widely recognised English language tests and is accepted by more than 12,500 organisations in over 140 countries, including universities, employers, professional bodies, and governments.
The partnership reflects BSBI’s commitment to supporting students throughout their international education journey by improving access to trusted English language assessment where they study. It also strengthens the services available to learners preparing for global academic and professional opportunities.
Prof. Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis, Provost and Chief Academic Officer of BSBI School of Business and Innovation, said that becoming an Authorised British Council IELTS Registration Centre is an important step in expanding access to one of the world’s most trusted English language tests. He added that the partnership will provide greater convenience for students while supporting learners and professionals in achieving their academic, professional, and migration goals.
BSBI School of Business and Innovation is part of GUS Germany GmbH and forms part of a dynamic network of educational institutions serving students across Germany, Europe, and beyond. The partnership with the British Council further reinforces BSBI’s role in providing internationally focused education, practical student support, and pathways to global opportunity.
